Hello Area 25,
It’s been a fast Summer and our July Assembly is right around the corner. I hope
this finds you and your loved ones well. There will be a Delegate report presented on Saturday
at Assembly from the recently attended General Service Conference and my experience with it.
It is with a lot of heartfelt gratitude that I say thank you for trusting me to represent the Area at
the Conference. There will be a Q&A after my report, so please write your questions down and
bring them with you to Assembly.
June 25th , the GSB held an online orientation meeting with Conference Committee Chairs and
Alternate Chairs. After introductions, Class A trustee Kerry Meyer talked about the Touchpoints
between corresponding committee chairs. Although there is no trustees committee on policy
and admissions, we are aligned with the Trustees’ General Service Conference Committee.
These Touchpoints will be an online meeting between the Trustees committee chairs and
Conference committee chairs and alternates prior to the quarterly Board meetings. Teddy B-W,
Literature Committee Chair presented on the October feedback call with the Conference
Committees and the topics that would be covered. The Conference Committee Chairs will
attend the fourth quarterly Board meeting in October and David S. Nominating Committee
Chair, discussed the logistics of that meeting. Rainer, GSO staff gave us some additional
communication on the December Orientation Preview as the Panel 77 Delegates will be
rotating in January. Our first online Touchpoint meeting with Ken T., chair of the Trustees’
General Service Conference Committee will be held sometime next week and I’ll have more
details at Assembly. I hope to see many of you there.
In grateful love and service,
Ken S.
Espero
ver a muchos de ustedes allí.
Con gratitud, amor y en servicio,
Ken S.
