The Area Assembly in January was well attended by GSRs and DCMs on both Saturday and Sunday. I’m excited to see so much interest and participation from everyone across Area 25. Thanks to Dee and the Committee for a successful weekend.
The General Service Board meets January 29 – February 2. We should see the Conference final agenda and background material around February 17. I will get that out to the DCMs when I get it. Committee Chairs be on the lookout for your information from Melissa who will be holding a pre-conference meeting at the April Area Committee Meeting. This provides an avenue for the DCMs and GSRs to discuss items as a group you believe are important and should be addressed at the General Service Conference at the end of April. Please come prepared.
DCMs: if you haven’t already, please reply to the email sent a few days ago confirming your email address, phone number and mailing address. If you did not get an email, please send your contact information to me at delegate@ks-aa.org. Communication is important to the unity of the Area, and I’ll be using email primarily to get your information to you. Thank you to those who have responded.

La Asamblea de Área de enero contó con una gran asistencia de Representantes de Grupo (GSR) y Representantes de Distrito (DCM) tanto el sábado como el domingo. Me entusiasma ver tanto interés y participación de todos en el Área 25. Gracias a Dee y al Comité por un fin de semana exitoso.
La Junta de Servicios Generales se reúne del 29 de enero al 2 de febrero. Deberíamos recibir el programa final de la Conferencia y el material de apoyo alrededor del 17 de febrero. Se lo haré llegar a los DCM tan pronto como lo reciba. Presidentes de Comité, estén atentos a la información que les enviará Melissa, quien organizará una reunión previa a la Conferencia durante la reunión del Comité de Área en abril. Esto brinda una oportunidad para que los DCM y los GSR discutan en grupo los temas que consideren importantes y que deberían abordarse en la Conferencia de Servicios Generales a finales de abril. Por favor, vengan preparados.
