Whatever your beliefs, I hope you had a wonderful Easter and this finds you and your loved ones happy, healthy and whole. Yesterday, the Area held a mock conference at the quarterly Committee meeting. It was well attended and thanks to all who brought the thoughts and ideas of your Groups and Districts to the meeting. It’s important for your Delegate to go to the Conference fully informed and I truly appreciate the efforts of Melissa and the Area Committee facilitating this. Also, a huge thanks to the Past Delegates who showed up and shared their wisdom and experience with the committees.
We’re two weeks out from Conference; I would say my frame of mind is excited apprehension. Excited because I’ve never done anything on this scale before, and apprehensive, because I’ve never done anything on this scale before. But we all know God goes before us and makes the crooked paths straight. I believe His Will to be done and things will be as they should be. I value your trust and confidence and will do my best to represent the Area’s views as we conduct business for A.A. as a whole. Thank you for the privilege of serving Area 25.

Cualesquiera que sean sus creencias, espero que hayan tenido una maravillosa Pascua y que este mensaje los encuentre a ustedes y a sus seres queridos felices, sanos e íntegros. Ayer, el Área celebró una conferencia simulada durante la reunión trimestral del Comité. Hubo una gran asistencia, y agradezco a todos aquellos que trajeron a la reunión las reflexiones e ideas de sus Grupos y Distritos. Es importante que su Delegado asista a la Conferencia plenamente informado, y aprecio sinceramente los esfuerzos de Melissa y del Comité de Área para facilitar este proceso. Asimismo, un enorme agradecimiento a los exdelegados que asistieron y compartieron su sabiduría y experiencia con los comités.
Faltan dos semanas para la Conferencia; diría que mi estado de ánimo es una mezcla de entusiasmo y aprensión. Entusiasmo, porque nunca antes he participado en algo de esta magnitud; y aprensión, precisamente porque nunca antes he participado en algo de esta magnitud. Pero todos sabemos que Dios va delante de nosotros y endereza los caminos torcidos. Confío en que se cumplirá Su Voluntad y que las cosas se darán tal como deben ser. Valoro su confianza y su respaldo, y haré todo lo que esté a mi alcance para representar los puntos de vista del Área mientras gestionamos los asuntos de A.A. en su conjunto. Gracias por el privilegio de servir al Área 25.
